IN ANOTHER FOLDER
Sometimes, Google makes assumptions on how you want your emails sorted. To fix that, take the email from the Promotions or Updates folder, and click and drag it into the Primary Folder.
Then on the bottom of your screen, a message should pop up asking if you want Gmail to automatically move those emails to the Primary folder in the future. Click “Yes.”
SPAM
If they are in your Spam folder, navigate there then select the email by clicking the box to the left of the subject line and click the “Not Spam” button at the top of the screen.
TRASH
On rare occasions, these emails can go directly to your Trash. Check there too. If it’s there, move it to your Inbox by selecting the email and clicking on the circled buttons below in order.
IF ALL OF THE ABOVE FAILS
